Reporting to the Exploration Manager and leading an exploration team you will be responsible for the management and development of new, high quality exploration projects
Your duties will include but not limited to:
- Managing and mentoring a small team of Geologists
- Geologically interpreting drilling results to define new targets
- Weekly and monthly reports
- Executing exploration programs by providing technical geological advice and analysis of all Geological data
- Utilising GIS and 3D software to help better understand the geological make-up of prospective exploration targets
Requirements
- A degree level qualification in Geology
- A demonstrated record of strong technical ability and good geological judgement
- Experience with Micromine (essential), Mapinfo, Access and Datashed
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
