We welcome applications from overseas candidates. Skilled engineers and technical staff are in short supply in Australia, and there are a number of visa options available to those moving from overseas, including (but not limited to):
Employer sponsored visas
The most common visa that we deal with is a 457 Business (Long Stay) visa. This visa is used by employers who choose to sponsor an overseas employee to work for them. The visa allows you to work in Australia for up to 4 years (at which point you can reapply).
Professional and Skilled Migrant visas
These visas are applied for individually, and are not sponsored by an employer. To apply you must be between 18 and 45 years of age, have strong English language proficiency, and EITHER recent skilled work experience OR have recently completed an eligible Australian qualification.
You must also have skills and qualifications for a role that is listed on Australia's Skilled Occupation List (SOL).
Family visas
There are a number of visa options available for people who have family members or spouses/ partners who are living in Australia or who are Australian permanent residents/ citizens. These visas are applied for individually, and are not sponsored by an employer. For more information click here
